Objective:
To enable students to better maintain his home PC and
support home users in connecting Internet or local area
network. The student will know how to install various
operating systems on a desktop. The
student will also be able to assemble PCs and/or repair
PCs.
Eligibility:
HS Examination passed.
Duration:
3.5 Month (40 Hours).
Certificate:
HexCode Technologies will award certificate of
competencies after the course completion.
Content:
Digital electronics,
Familiarity with Motherboard, Familiarity with Hard
Disk, CDROM, DVDROM, Floppy Disk Drive, Display,
Keyboard and Mouse, Familiarity with USB 1.1 and USB
2.0, Familiarity with CMOS Setup, Familiarity with
Windows, Linux, Solaris booting on x86 machine, idea of
Local Area Network (LAN), TCP/IP, Setting up Internet
Dial Up connection, creating small workgroup LAN.
