Diploma in Systems Management

Objective: Knowledge in Software Information & Management System.

Eligibility:  Any Graduate/Graduating Student

Duration:6 months each semester X 4 Semesters = 2 years

Certificate: HexCode Technologies will award certificate of competencies after the course completion.

Content: Semester I - General IT fundamentals: Information Technology Fundamentals, Fundamentals of Information Technology, Implementing Relational Databases using MS-SQL on SQL Server 2005, Object-oriented Programming using C++.

Semester II – MIS Development: Information systems and Common Business Process Need for information systems, Payroll, Systems, Finance Systems etc.
Building Analytic Applications using MS-EXCEL, Pivot tables, Statistical/Mathematical/Financial Functions, VBA Programming, Introduction to Financial Accounting Creating Accounts and Groups, Creating Products and Products groups, Handling Cash Book, Handling Bank Book, Bank Reconciliation, Sales Book and Analysis, Purchase Book and Analysis, Fundamentals of MS-Access Creating Queries, Enhancing Queries , Implementing Forms, Altering Forms, Creating Reports, Customizing Reports, Integrating Data.
Interpersonal Communication.

Project Semester III - Information Systems Specialization: Introduction to enterprise Frameworks and Information Analysis Introduction to CRM/SCM etc. and Enterprise business Analysis needs, DSS, EIS etc. Developing Web-enabled Information Systems Introduction to VS.net, C#, Data types in C#, Forms, Controls and Event handlers, ADO.net, XML /XSLT /DOM , Crystal Reports, Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling Introduction to Data Modeling, OLAP vs. OLTP, ROLAP vs. MOLAP, Star and snowflake schemas etc. Introduction to Software Engineering Need for Software Engineering, Phases in Software Engineering Models, Analysis & Design etc.
Programming using JavaScript Interactive Web Pages, Linking Web Documents.

Information Security Concepts. Semester IV - Enterprise Information Systems Specialist: Modeling and Designing a Data Warehouse - Data Warehouse Architecture, Roles and kinds of data models ,Technical data models mapping to business requirements, Modeling techniques, Relational modeling techniques, Dimensional modeling techniques, Optimization techniques, Applied data modeling for data warehouses, data marts, and data staging areas. Enterprise Data Sources and Migration Strategies Various Data Migration Stages, Identifying Data Sources, Planning strategic and Technical plans, User requirements, Performance requirements. Project Management - Overview to Project Management, Scope Management and Resource management using MS-Project. Introduction to software quality assurance. International Etiquette. Capstone Project.
