In this study, we take into account all kind of expected costs, to arrive at a figure, to find out the true current cost vis-a-vis the true savings potential from this kind of solution, using Hyper-V.
This Study uses a Third party tool, from a company managed by one former Gartner employee.
When we first did it for one of the Financial company in Tokyo, it threw us up with a mind boggling savings figure, which we initially could not even believe. However, when we looked into the details of its structure, and shared that with our customer, it appears that we will be considered as dumb, if we still do not implement this solution.
